The MFT Global Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access multidisciplinary journal based in Hargeisa, Somaliland. Mohamed Farah Tahar is the founding visionary behind MFT Global Journal. With a deep commitment to elevating scholarship from Somaliland and the wider Horn of Africa, he established the journal to provide a rigorous, inclusive platform for researchers, practitioners, and emerging scholars.
Drawing on years of experience in academia and community development, Mohamed champions research that speaks to local realities while engaging global conversations. Under his leadership, MFT Global Journal promotes ethical research practices, mentorship for young researchers, and meaningful collaboration between institutions within and beyond the region.
